Apply for a scholarship to attend the 2023 National Science Teachers Conference – CONASTA 70
One scholarship to the total value of $1800 is offered to an early career teacher to attend CONASTA 70 in Adelaide, 9th – 12th July 2023
How to Apply
Eligible Applicants:
- Early years, primary, secondary or senior secondary teachers
- Are individual, family or school members of STAT
- Are in their first 3 years of their career
- Deliver science classes at their school
Application Requirements:
- Provide 1 x A4 (250 – 400 words) addressing the selection criteria
- Letter of support from head of department or supervisor
- Completion of the online submission form
- CV
- The recipient is required to share their experience through social media posts during
the event, at CONSTAT 2024, and write a brief article for the STAT Scoop
Selection Criteria:
- Give an example of how you engage your students in your science lessons
- What do you enjoy most about teaching science
- What aspect of your teaching practice would you like to improve given your attendance
at CONASTA 70 - Provide a brief overview of the professional learning you have compelte to improve your
practice
