2020 Winifred Curtis Medal
Hello Science Educators across Tasmania,
Each year the University of Tasmania, in collaboration with the Science Teachers’ Association of Tasmania, presents the Winifred Curtis Medal for Excellence in Science Education to a teacher/educator who has shown unstinting support for Science Education in a manner in keeping with the lifetime work of Botanist and educator, Dr Winifred Curtis.
This year’s award is now calling for nominations. Application form and details are attached.
Please note that the closing date is Friday 2nd October, 2020 and the presentation of the award will take place on Sunday 6th December.

Consider nominating them for STAT’s most prestigious award – the Winifred Curtis Medal – This prize, which comes with both a medal and a cash prize, is generally awarded during the dinner at STAT’s Annual Conference CONSTAT.
This is an opportunity to celebrate excellence in science education and STAT encourages all teachers to give consideration to worthy nominees.
